X-ray Ptychography Imaging of Human Chromosomes After Low-dose Irradiation

In an study published by Chromosome Research in March 2021, Silson’s silicon nitride membranes were used for Ptychography imaging of human chromosomes.

The article reads: “Two different-sized silicon nitride membrane X-ray windows (Silson Ltd.) were used. These had 0.25×0.25 mm2 window opening, membrane thickness 30 nm and 100 nm or 0.50×0.50 mm2 window opening, membrane thickness 30 nm and 100 nm”, and you can read all about the fascinating research here!
