Thickness-Varied Carbon Nanomembranes from Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces have published an article by Qi et Al, about a study in which they “present a facile fabrication of carbon nanomembranes (CNMs) from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) that aredrop-cast onto arbitrary supports, including foils and metalized films”

Silson’s products were used for the preparation of the CNMs, including:

TEM grids for helium ion microscopy

– SiO2 / Si wafers for atomic force microscopy

– and Si3N4 / Si membranes
