Synchrotron X-ray Fluorescence and FTIR Signatures for Amyloid Fibrillary and Nonfibrillary Plaques

In an article published by ACS Publications by Alvarez-Marimon et Al that involved the analysis of Amyloid plaques which are hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease, samples were mounted onto Silson’s silicon nitride membranes, for the various analysis techniques including XANES and SR-nano-XRF.
