Observation of an Intermediate to H2 Binding in a Metal–organic Framework

A study by Barnett et Al, published by ChemRxiv, found that “adsorption at framework metal sites does not always follow a concerted pathway” and also that probing kinetics have an important role to play in the design of next-generation adsorbents.

For the absorption spectroscopy process, the samples were deposited on Silson’s silicon nitride membranes.
