Label Free Spectromicroscopy on Drug and Drug Loaded Nanocarriers in Skin

Kenji Yamamoto has written an Inaugural-Dissertation at Freie Universität Berlin titled “Label Free Spectromicroscopy on Drug and Drug Loaded Nanocarriers in Skin”, along with several other publications surrounding the subject matter.

Silson’s 100nm thick silicon nitride membranes have been used for many of the experiments involving nanoscopic drug delivery and optical microscopy studies on the samples were performed.

The dissertation introduction concludes: “Results of both label-free techniques are used and combined to analyze the penetration characteristics and the penetration mechanism of drugs and nanoscopic drug delivery systems”
